@ScratchyDerose@kovox The show is not only eligible for the Annies, but Kevin Temmer was nominated for the pilot.
He lost Character Animation to Alex Bard for Blue Eye Samurai.
I just realized the implication that the reason Kinger is better in the dark is because he's about as close to abstracting as possible without going over the edge. And I should have realized this after Ep 3.
@lady_klainer Never heard anyone directly address this but when I saw the episode for the first time, my assumption was that Bubble was trying to say "I'm having a blast!" but because he was kinda falling apart at the time...that happened. lol
@ChonkyToad The show is mainly from Pomni's perspective. She's experiencing Jax as a new person in her life, and he's the one she's most drawn to, so he takes a spotlight. But her growth and relationship with everyone is very prominent and important to the series.
@AradiaArts But you're right in your comment elsewhere, Hasbro was amazing at marketing MLP in general. They didn't have to buy I can't imagine how much money they made doing it the way they did it.
@aratakaswife Pomni feels alone and discovers she doesn't have to be.
She tries to pass on the lesson but Jax is not receptive.
It's arguably the most poetic, artistic shot in the entire series. It's Pomni realizing she didn't fail Jax. Jax just refused the help.
