Protocol 26 is a major milestone ahead of the final planned upgrade, Protocol 27. With 8 successful upgrades completed over the past few months, these final two upgrades will bring the network up to date with the latest protocol features, improvements, and functionality.

The Pi mining app side menu and app profile page have been redesigned!

As the first step of a broader mining app design refresh, this update makes important Pioneer info and ecosystem features easier to find, understand, and navigate. Tap the hamburger (☰) icon in the top left of the Pi mining app to check it out.

Since the mining app is a central part of the Pioneer experience and its interface has supported the Pi community’s growth to over 60 million engaged Pioneers, changes to its design and user experience must be introduced thoughtfully and iteratively to improve clarity, style and usability while maintaining core functionalities.

Less than 10K accounts hold at least 1M PI...

According to data obtained from PIScan, less than 10,000 accounts hold at least 1M $PI.

A total of 9,961 accounts hold between 1M and 10 M PI, while 766 accounts hold between 100K and 1M PI.

In contrast, 80% of Pioneers, which translates to over 14.5 million users, hold less than 10 PI.

Only 21 whale accounts are available on PI Network (@PiCoreTeam). (>10M PI).

It's the plumbing of American finance.

Their multi-chain strategy now includes Stellar by name, following an SEC No-Action Letter in December 2025.

The first wave of tokenized assets, including holdings from the Russell 1000 and major ETFs, is expected on Stellar in the first half of 2027.

The reasons Stellar was chosen are the same reasons it has been the network of choice for cross-border payments and stablecoin settlement: throughput, low fees, and an architecture built with compliance in mind from the start.

DTCC and the Stellar Development Foundation announced today plans to enable the tokenization of DTC‑custodied assets on the @StellarOrg network. This collaboration advances DTCC’s multi chain strategy and expands how traditional assets move across digital ecosystems.

DTC‑tokenized assets are expected to be made available on the Stellar network in the first half of 2027, supporting the evolution of a more open, interoperable, and efficient financial ecosystem.
