@refsupportuk Oh I loved having my palms outstretched in front of me as the net bulged. A work of art when it comes off. I even remember seeing David Axcell doing a fist pump after he gave a blinder. I thought that was great
@RefSteve316@TrueGrassroot@refsupportuk I had this exact scenario given to me by John Goggins when I was applying tape selection to the Football League back in 1994. It looks all wrong but it’s offside isn’t it.
@TrueGrassroot@refsupportuk Where to start correcting this! Not direct from corner and the direction the ball is played isn’t relevant. He is close to the goal line than the ball. That’s fact. It’s offside. Ps PL assistant referee of 14 years here
@eflobserverpod You are in an offside position if you are closer to the goal-line than the ball. That is the offside Law. Everything else relates to exceptions. He is offside.
@refsupportuk That was my dad. Right up until one time I lined at Carrow Rd and flagged for a pen to Tottenham. Said he went to the car and made sure it would start first time! Carrow Rd! That hotbed of abuse….
@LouiseMesma@UKLabour It’s o my until The GE. Like Galloway, no chance of doing anything meaningful and it’s grist to the ‘Tories Out’ mill. Nothing to do with political views and everything to do with ‘Et tu Rishi’. Exeunt pursued by a bear
