Die Folgen des ehemaligen tropischen Wirbelsturms #Zyklon #Jasper haben dazu geführt, dass mehr als 10.000 Menschen ohne Strom sind und zahlreiche Menschen in #Queensland, Australien, evakuiert werden mussten. Die Überschwemmungen haben Häuser, Gebäude, Straßen und Brücken in Mitleidenschaft gezogen und stellen eine erhebliche Bedrohung für wichtige Dienstleistungen wie Strom, Wasser, Abwasser und Telekommunikation dar. Einige Gemeinden, wie z. B. in der Gegend von Cairns, erleben derzeit die schlimmsten Überschwemmungen seit 100 Jahren.
