βThere is nothing easy about becoming a successful musician from the ground up. Itβs an extremely tough business and the heart may suffer the sickness of delayed desire and gratification. So do your self care stuff, be kind on your own mind & plan on steady endurance. β jj
Fighting for time to write and play my music! Life on life's terms! Fees and dues and dues and fees, you'll hear me say! The industry is cut throat and without love, I'd resound as a clanging cymbal! My dream is to write, produce, and share beautiful, original music!
A couple of pretty flowers
That's what I brought to you
I saw you through a broken window
with a different point of view
BROKEN WINDOW SERENADE

Happiness on this earth
ain't just for high achievers
I've learned that
There's life at both ends
of that Red Dirt Road.

THAT is why I believe in the power of Indie Radio. Indie Radio is a the key under the door mat, left by a friend...so you can do your thing. Because I know it's in you and I know you're the real deal.
@reddirtrootstx I couldnβt agree with you more. Sometimes I think of all the real talent out there that gets overlooked everyday and never gets a chance to show their ability. While the majority of the stuff on the radio is produced from a cookie cutter prompt and gets all of the advertisement.
It don't hit ya 'til it lays you flat
You don't hear the lonely train
'til you're tied up on the track
You don't want the way it is
'til you're wishin' for the way it was
That's how a heartache finds a fool
It don't Happen 'til it does

@StuSimpsontunes Ears are underrated also! How many times are we told to LISTEN! We have plenty of great music to glean from but our senses are so distracted ; so over fed and cluttered with nonsense that we can't see that gem in the mud.
