Check out some of Joba’s highlights from the Spring! It was filled with bombs, strikeouts, and some breathtaking plays at first base. This kid has got college baseball dreams!!!
Richmond Elite’s Lewis Kelly (6’1 2028 Westmoreland HS) ranks 2nd in scoring average after today’s games with a 16.0ppg average. He scored 22 points against Unknighted and after watching that performance I made these observations; #BigShots#RichmondSpringLiveOpen@BigShotsToday@BigShotsGlobal
Richmond Elite’s Lewis Kelly (6’0 2028 Westmoreland HS) is a smart and savvy playmaker who impacts both ends of the floor with his heady play and energy. Lewis combines high level shot creation and efficient three level scoring with high IQ playmaking and versatility on the defensive end. Harassing point of attack defense and the ability to drop down in the paint clogging up passing lanes and rebounding. His long wingspan, instincts and athleticism key in his defensive prowess. Offensively he is cat quick, a slasher type with great body control and ability to navigate tight spaces and get his shot or find the open man. Lewis can also hit the three pointer but is so difficult to keep out of the paint he often takes advantage of his ability to break down defenses and work off the bounce as a scorer and distributor. He has a fantastic feel, knows the game and he can flat out play! #BigShots #RichmondSpringLiveOpen @BigShotsToday@BigShotsGlobal
Joba pitched a complete game yesterday. He faced 23 batters, 11 strikeouts, 2 walks, and 1 earned run. He had a 63% strike rate. He’s really improving. He also hit a 💣 at the plate.
Top of the 5th of a 6 inning game with the bases loaded, 1 out, and a tie ball game. Back-to-back strikeouts and finishes him with a curveball. This kid’s got guts!!! Joba is tough!!!
