After cleaning Madhya Pradesh's Ajnar River and earning global recognition, Surendra Singh Choudhary, popularly known as Bittu Tabahi, has extended his cleanup mission to Delhi's Yamuna River. On day one of the three-day drive, he along with volunteers removed 585 kg of waste from the riverbank.

I see so many take exception to what the RSS chief has said and it is sad to see the comments attacking the ideal he's propounding by some Hindus. I am sure I will also be attacked now.

But I am still going to say it: What he's implying is correct. Anyone who thinks other faiths can't be Indian or be in India can't be Hindus or Bharatiya by definition.

At this crucial juncture and forever, India has to take along every citizen regardless of their religion or region alienating none. Hate will only break the nation.

For one, the adversary is seeding hate, creating radicals on either side, splitting open divides in society, and weakening the country using it.

But more importantly, the ethos of India's Hindu civilization is live and let live. Even if invaders with extreme ideologies have barged into India, they have been subdued over time and converted into the Hindu way of life, they accept it or not.

Hating or excluding anyone based on their faith cannot be Hindu. But more importantly, hating someone for their ideas and opinions can never be Hindu. Being a Hindu you can argue, you can debate, but you cannot hate and personally attack for someone's ideas.

Those who do that only weaken the country attacking every institution that strengthens it, giving power to the adversaries who amplify such attacks and watch with glee as the institutions are weakened by their own.
