Shanks slapped Mihawk around though. Shanks, even with one arm, could still probably beat Mihawk. Mihawk being Zoro’s “peak” probably isn’t entirely true. It’s a “goal”, just as much as Shanks is a goal for Luffy. You’ve reached your peak when you can go no more, and Zoro and Luffy have plenty left to go.
This shit shouldn’t be/ wasn’t even controversial some years ago…. This was the hope and expectation after seeing the very obvious and very clear decline of RS3. Despite trying to turn the game around in recent days, it’s just too late.
If there IS controversy around this idea, it HAS to be from an earlier generation. I can’t imagine veterans disagreeing with this take on a broader level. Could be wrong though 🤷🏻♂️
@BTDHim@Krisya95 Shit, you right lol. But, he more or less “killed himself” cause he just exhausted his chakra using Kamui to save Choji. So, like, YES, Pain in essence did kill Kakashi. BUT, he didn’t REALLY kill him and Kakashi did still use Kamui to try to save his own ass lol.
Saw a mod for Tarkov a year ago on SPT that really fleshed out the AI of Tarkov. Made them smarter, a little harder in certain areas, made their own version of PMC that was almost realistic. Would peak with a lean, or would go to high places to snipe.
Don’t know if this is in the works for you guys, but making the AI even smarter/ more like an actual player would be very nice.
Sanin factor, plus he knew Orochimaru’s snake sage shit was formidable. Knowing he can shed his body to do as he pleases, plus the forbidden tech he knew was probably a little scarier compared to Itachi. If you saw the enemy force your 3rd Hokage to have to sacrifice himself to defeat him, you’d probably be pretty fucked up about it too lmao. Not to mention, homeboy used reanimation jutsu and walked away from that fight with Hiruzen with just no arms.
He fought Itachi, not alone, but underestimated him. He told Asuma and Kurenai not to look at him and thought his 1 Sharingan would be enough to counteract Uchiha genjutsu. Itachi’s Tsukuyomi was the best in the series, besides infinite Tsukuyomi, and Kakashi not being an actual Uchiha means he literally COULD NOT even ATTEMPT to dodge Itachi’s genjutsu. They could trade blows, but never revealed his entire hand. No one knew he had Susano’o, nor did they know he had Izanami. Bro was under wraps. Kakashi was sure as HELL scared of the fucker after that fight, that’s for sure.
If you’re trying to restand 2 Don with him, then no. You could swing twice, but you wouldn’t be able to activate lead effect if these 2 are on the field. So, yes, it works, but also inhibits your leader’s effect. They also eat up 2 spots on board in a deck that utilizes the board with impel down characters.
Maybe? I, personally, felt like CoD2019 is what spiked interest more so than WarZone. You might be right if we had some numbers. I guess the overarching argument is, did WarZone “save” CoD, or was the franchise already experiencing revitalization due to a new engine and generation of CoD?
PvP players not realizing that having absolutely no life to become the sweats they are says more about their bitchless lives, than a PvE player who has a wife, kids, girlfriend, or what have you, that keeps them too occupied to be bitchless.
Every extraction shooter would be dead if there wasn’t a mode or experience for the casual.
Didnt even play Mihawk like that, but the overall philosophy of Bandai bans really showed itself with this ban, in particular… New Charlotte package is MUCH more egregious compared to Mihawk, considering these cards are put in almost every Yellow deck now, and Enel has been a menace for how long now? I actually LOVE Enel and definitely don’t think he should be banned, but maybe some restricitions? Something that makes sense, not just an entire leader ban.
Mihawk performed highly well because of 10c Shanks and Decken. You pair ban the leader and Shanks, or Shanks and Decken, and Mihawk becomes SO much more tame.
People are forgetting the Electrical Luna combo as well I guess, but being able to 10c Shanks, play Decken, kill whatever, tap my stage for 3 Don and play Luna is ridiculous. Shanks causes this type of problem in ANY green deck, but getting that free Decken with Mihawks 3 Don stand isn’t Mihawks fault if you just pair ban those cards.
Maybe I’m wrong with that analysis, but people will find a way to implement the same, or similar, strategy. When that happens, then what does Bandai do?
Played it during it’s beta. I really liked it, but AI can be very annoying at times and I don’t think they ever really fixed the spawn killing issues. It’s also VERY grindy. Some of it is fun, some of it is not. The replicator system is cool conceptually, but I personally am still not a fan of it. Where really good items used to take a couple of minutes to make, they not take days to complete. The balance there is way off.
Feel like I’m spewing negatives lol, but it’s because those are like, glaring issues. Gunplay and fights can be very fun and I enjoyed the chaos AI brought to the table at times. It inhibits ratting at certain locations and forces the revelation of your location. Idk, definitely wish more people gave it a shot, BUT, it is a Gaijin game. They are notorious for their P2W-antics. You can “earn” items via the battle pass…. That alone will deter most.
Will probably try it because, why not? But, definitely won’t stick it. All these extraction shooters fail to capture the allure of Tarkov. Gritty, realistic-ish tactical FPS gameplay, with an inventory system that has yet to be replicated to the success of Tarkov. The only thing that’s close to it is Arena Breakout. Even then, it doesn’t feel as good as Tarkov.
I don’t necessarily want to play Fortnite, the Extraction shooter. Nor do I want to play Destiny, the Extraction Shooter. I actually enjoy Marathon PvE, but the looting and inventory systems are just crap.
