@sumsoupy I struggled I got tired of being tired I’ve healed I’ve changed I’ve learned
and i actively continue to do all these things every day
and it is genuinely GENUINELY easier then to continue choosing suffering and finding excuses every day
thanks god being social and having and building relationships is a skill that can be learned
and it’s actually easy and fast af to learn it as an adult
sucks so bad to spend ur childhood fantasizing about living a normal adult life, only to realize you'll never be normal and u are significantly socially delayed
@sumsoupy I’m an adhd-er with cptsd from severe abuse and neglect I went through as a child
you can SHUT THE FUCK UP with this bullshit neurodivergency and mental issues excuse
and with your stupid assumption that I didn’t struggle
@ShitpostingCen1 you need to find something similar
gym with good social climate
hobby in 2-3 different areas where activity requires social interaction
@ShitpostingCen1 you start with building social life
close friendships come to you naturally with time and adequate progression of relationships that you form with people around you
building any kind of relationship especially adult friendships require time
@ShitpostingCen1 and I go to the open table board game and reading club in the same center almost every week
because it’s the same center it’s same people week after week
and these activities force us to socialise with each other
@Kama1G recommend checking all of them even if you can’t relate straightforwardly because the best thing you can do in a process of progressing in social skills is listening and learning perspective of different people
even if you don’t agree with them
@Kama1G long format content I follow in English is mostly about inner work it’s all related because when you change within you change your behaviour as a natural consequence

Everyone is always rooting for you. Your parents want you to be a great son. Wife wants you to be a great husband. Your boss wants you to be a slam dunk hire. Every first date you’ve ever been on they’ve been rooting for you to get laid. Every time you started to tell a joke people hoped it would have a hilarious punch line. Your proximity to anyone is a reflection of themself, meaning the deck is never stacked against you, and your failures are completely your own
Building an interesting life is worth the effort. Develop your skills. Take your career seriously. Learn to manage money. Travel when you can. Maintain friendships. Try things that scare you. An interesting life rarely arrives on its own. Give yourself more possibilities.
@Kama1G@TCockson73852 you’re not asking me for help you’re whining and complaining and ask for pity
you will receive help if you actually ask for it appropriately and you will receive tough love if you continue ask for pity
@losingxbones that’s called limiting beliefs and they make no sense to me because I genuinely don’t understand why would you put yourself in this situation
you want to and actively choose to continue suffer and complain because you don’t want to leave your comfort
@MartinPerring personally i find it rather easy as an adult because adults act a lot more civilised and adequate then teenagers
adults are actually on average more patient and forgiving
and most of your social mistakes will be forgotten in an hour
@Kama1G@TCockson73852 I am being helpful by informing you that this content exists
