Negotiating with a terrorist (aka the mini donkey) to allow me to put corona on his very open leg wound that he caused himself by throwing a fit at dinner time π€¦ββοΈ
Walmart grocery delivery really said, we are out of stock of your cans of tea but don't worry UPS will be by later ππ they shipped me the tea thst couldn't be delivered from my store.
@beezersandottbs Its been progressivsly worsening for almost 2 years - we THINK it was an injury in the field that at first presented neurologically 2 summers ago but it cleared up with dex in 2 or 3 days back then. After that his hind end began to atrophy and his front got stiff.
@e38simp This is the one that doesnt get ridden (he also has a early onset cataract in one eye plus the sacrum/SI problem that we think may be related to his neck). He was tested for epm/lyme and his CRP was high but that was it. I'll try the tongue thing today!
@mcneillrach We did xrays and he doesnt trip or stumble. The bottom half of his neck is sold stiff, like the muscle itself is like a rock and then the top is atrophied. His feet aren't bad BUT we actually stopped doing shoes about 4 months ago bc he couldn't hold a foot up long enough.
@e38simp Last xrays were about 3 months ago. Nothing looked compressed or abnormal - I'll try to get my copies to share. We are going to start laser treatments again soon but I really don't know what else to try for him. Its also a matter of what he will tolerate, hes not the best patient
@lulupisita He does "rock" sometimes and is not great at balancing when you pick a foot up. He also does stand with his back legs crossed often. We've done neuro exams and tested for lyme/epm/etc and he was all clear. He doesn't trip or fall or anything though.
@lulupisita His vertebrae all look "normal" on xrays and we did xray neck and back. My vet said we could trailer him to a clinic to do a CT scan but that it wouldn't really give us much and that the prognosis would be the same, managing his symptoms.
@2greysNaBay In Ocala & use Peterson Smith but also a few smaller vets & holistic vet. Did xrays and he actually doesnt seem back sore except for his sacrum which does get swollen (hes got an insane hunters bump essentially). Possible pelvic issue but no real treatment just managing symptoms
@lulupisita We have seen several different vets π done all the tests, tried various medications and treatments, we really don't know what the issue is other than an assumed sacrum injury causing overcompensation in the front. He's got atrophy in the top of the neck and the hind end too
@BuiltByAxel Its been getting progressively worse and Idk what else to try for him. We do PEMF, acupuncture and did robaxin and equioxx for a while with not much of a result
@Chestnut_champ Sadly its been getting worse over the past few months. His front end has been overcompensating for a sacrum injury and now his neck is like solid stiff and his shoulder/chest is overmuscled. He can't reach to bite himself or at flies on his sides now.
