@Justin_Nomura_@SeattleSonics I grew up a Sonics fan, was super happy when Vancouver got a team. It sucked losing both teams. Glad to see Seattle getting back something they never should have lost.
Traffic Enforcement Remains a Priority for AbbyPD
As we step into 2026, the Abbotsford Police Department reaffirms its commitment to making traffic safety a top priority in our community. Collisions caused by speeding, distracted driving, and impaired driving continue to result in preventable injuries and fatalities. Our officers remain dedicated to proactive enforcement and education to keep Abbotsford’s roads safe for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.
In 2025, AbbyPD officers issued more than 4,900 violation tickets, including 420 excessive speeding violations that resulted in vehicle impoundments. Additionally, 1,239 impaired drivers were removed from our roads, preventing countless potential tragedies. Through targeted enforcement initiatives, high-visibility patrols, and community engagement, we work tirelessly to reduce dangerous driving behaviors and improve compliance with traffic laws.
Traffic enforcement isn’t just about issuing tickets—it’s about saving lives. Together, we can make Abbotsford a safer place to live, work, and travel. #RoadSafetyMatters
