Great point from @umajmishra @RaceEquityIndex on the reality of the change that needs to happen in global dev. She suggests that it isn't about dismantling age-old systems - they can't be dismantled, but it's about holding those structures and their power-holders to account.

▫️White exceptionalism - assuming white people working in global development are the good ones
▪️Reckless aid - funding without building trust
▫️Western superiority - assuming western organisations are perfect and can not be corrupt #unga
