@TheGadgetFreakk@Isaikid@Destiny2Team They laid off almost every person that has worked on Destiny. Theres a difference between reading and understanding what youre reading.
Most of the people working on Marathon were HIRED specifically for Marathon. The only exceptions still left were the original Destiny PvP team
@WeboQueso@Gazz_54 You just used pronouns in your comment you fucking fat retard
Also, Jason Jones, the last person remaining that literally FOUNDED the studio, was one of the people that left. He was responsable for almost all of Bungies games
@PaulTassi I know this guy was likely put in an impossible situation given when he took the reigns, but I cant help but feel a little vindicated.
When looking at the timeline of things, he took over the head spot, secretly cancelled D2 within the first few months, then bailed.
@GamerUPGaming@Jorraptor You could combine the current and future financial success of literally every one of those games and that STILL doesnt recoup the cost of the botched Bungie aquisition alone.
Bungie as a whole will close in the next 12 months if a miracle doesnt happen. Thats $3.6 billion GONE
@PaulTassi Jesus fucking christ man
This shit is insane. At a point where failures of this magnitude in management should be held criminally liable.
A billion dollar franchise and over 1000 jobs from just one studio. Gone.
Dont even have the words
@DestinyBulletn So let me get this straight..
This guy took the job, in the first 2 months made the decision to end Destiny development and layoff the Destiny team, then dips the day those layoffs are announced?
Do not, and I mean this, do not EVER hire this guy.
