Student art on the rooftop "patio" βοΈ Would love to see this space turned from cement to useable patio space with turf and patio furniture and maybe some umbrellas.
Muralist Scott Clark is working with our Art students to convert a blank wall into a beautiful piece of art! The students helped with the design
and will learn aspects of mural art in completing the piece. Itβs coming to life!

The pilot was so successful that now 16 other junior high schools have created similar breakout rooms. The idea started at the School Council level but has since transformed into a signature mental health support program. A space for students to regulate then return to class.
Attending the Alberta School Councils' Association annual conference this weekend in Edmonton. Favourite session by far- 'The Reset Room' piloted in partnership with the School Council at Sherwood Heights Junior High. #mentalhealthbreak#ascaconf23@ABschoolcouncil

Donβt deny the world the contribution that only you can make. Whether thatβs being a better parent, a better executive, a better artist, a better teacher, a better dog walker, a better CEO, or a better cashier - doesnβt matter.
The world could use better versions of all of us.
