This afternoon, I had an issue with Windows 11 suddenly requiring me to enter a password every time it boots up. The fix was to enable requiring a password at sign-in, then disabling it. The new passcode feature caused the problem. Hopefully, it's fixed, now.

I might consider buying the Final Fantasy 7 remake games, if I had a device that the game could run on. I don't have PS5, Xbox, nor Switch 2. I would prefer to not buy a PC game.

had an eye exam today with glaucoma specialist. Then, he refilled my prescriptions for eyedrops. Despite neurological test results, the glaucoma specialist thinks my vision problem in neurological. He told me to find another neurologist.

finally saw my doctor regarding my shoulder pain, but all she did was order some tests: annual papsmear, mammogram, blood, and then x-ray for my shoulder. Ugh...

felt constipated a few weeks ago, so I started drinking prune juice. I drink a cup with my lunch. It seems to do to my body what my mom's IBS medication does to hers. After drinking the juice, I have gas until bedtime, so I don't feel like taking any fitness classes.

found out I have to pay the $70 fee to repair my clogged sinks last month. The due date was May 13, and I didn't even know about it. I didn't receive any written notice. I just saw the fee on my online tenant maintenance site.

Dragon Quest Day 2026 seems pretty mid, to me. They announced a new Monsters game, and there's a discount for Monsters 3, but I dislike the monsters genre. There's only a new premium pass for Smash Grow, but no premium banner with guaranteed 3 star pull. No remake announcement.

attended a meditation workshop at my mental health clinic, today. It basically consisted of someone playing a tape with music and meditation instructions. I could do that at home, if I had an app for it. At least my shoulders felt better (from vaccination) after the session.

40 years ago today, the first Dragon Quest game was released. Its easy-to-understand command-based system helped popularize the RPG genre in Japan!

Now I get ads in Dragon Quest Smash Grow that send me to a web browser, but there is no close button when I return to the game, so the only way to exit the ad is to close the game, and then I get an error message when I reopen it.
