Blossom class have explored the work of the artist Faith Ringgold, they have been inspired by her work and used different materials to create their own textured landscapes.

Sycamore Class have been learning about the fossil hunter, Mary Anning.
We have used the same tools, a hammer and a chisel, to 'dig' for fossils and role-played Mary's experiences. Some of us have answered questions and created a timeline of her life.
Our pupils have been very busy during outdoor learning activities; exploring the different textures of the trees and taking bark rubbings, exploring habitats and taking part in scavenger hunts. Well done everybody!
In preparation for adulthood, Maple class have been experiencing first hand skills and knowledge used in the construction industry or to do some DIY at home, putting together flat pack furniture and plastering walls. Great job everybody!
As part of their 'preparation for adulthood' curriculum, Maple class have visited Wyre estuary country park to observe and experience different job roles undertaken to maintain the grounds.
A group of our Sixth Form students, who will be leaving school this summer, enjoyed a visit to Barton Grange playing a game of bowling and having lunch together.
A group of our Sixth form students have been taking part in weekly work experience helping Blackpool Centre for independent living. They have worked together to help to maintain the grounds.

Oak class enjoyed a visit to Booths Supermarket, Poulton. They learned about and experienced different job roles and took part in a challenge to find the location of different products. Thank you to Booths for this wonderful opportunity. #preparationforadulthood

A big Red Marsh thank you to all the local businesses, community and parents who generously donated Easter eggs. Our children had a fantastic time on the last day of term, participating in an exciting Easter egg hunt, and were thrilled to receive an egg for their efforts!
