@ShowUsYaTwitts@AussieBotStudio@OzPollies Based on the phrasing from Topher, it seems there was an invoice, but it wasn't itemised. Now there is an itemised invoice.
@BlackDumpling A lot of it is overheating. If it's a bit cold, it's easy to wrap them up too much at night.
I knew an ex cop who said they mark it down as SIDS to not cause further distress to the family.
The decline in SIDS also correlates with educational campaigns on soffocation and heat.

The theme of an adult male hero taking care of a kid or kids plainly resonates. And please notice that this is only movies - not print or TV. (I left out Andy Griffith and The Courtship of Eddy's Father, for instance.)
Men LOVE to fantasize that they need to protect a smaller innocent person. Women LOVE to see a man showing paternal instincts. The idiots who are trying to position this as some kind of pervert bait are the same guys who want me to feel worried when my granddaughter runs over and gives me a hug at the park. Screw those guys.
No one, absolutely no one, is more convinced they know men better than Feminists who haven't the first fxcking clue.
Tradfeminist Mary here is seemingly unfamiliar with the enormous body of literature, games, and movies that feature men assuming a foster father role for children that are not theirs... or at least seemingly thinks the Mandalorian got big because of all the men in the audience just really had a secret desire to molest Grogu. Mind you this is the *least* insane interpretation of her argument. Because the alternative is that she's suggesting men simply feel nothing towards children and considering the number of men who have risked their lives and died trying to save children who were not their own... well, you get my point.
Either this post is griftastic or she's just another tradfeminist moron telling men they're too stupid to understand what they themselves feel even as they overwhelmingly tell her she's wrong.
@BlackDumpling 90% sounds like good odds to me.
Growing up where finding love, getting married and having a family is the normal expected default, was good.
The current generation see their chances of having that as quite low and are now full of despair.
@BlackDumpling I was made redundant early in my relationship with my wife. Then again a few months before our wedding. Technically unemployed for the wedding, doing odd jobs here and there. She was made redundant two weeks before the wedding, so we were both unemployed. It all worked out though
@KeeperNovaIce Steam made buying games so easy that it reduced piracy.
And I can buy a game somewhere else and add it as a non-steam game to keep it in the same launcher and to use Steam link.
Valve are the good guys.
@BlackDumpling I thought Brick was just about him being a shit person stringing along a girl he isn't interested in.
But I relistened and you're right. Very different song now.
THIS IS GOLD! Comedian Jimmy Carr gave a Danish heckler a brutal reality check about Greenland.
Heckler: "Should we sell Greenland?"
Carr: "Should you sell it?... The alternative is they take it. I mean no offense to your fine military..." 😂
Heckler: "He used the same tactics back then. There was a Trump back then. The same tactics. The pressure to either sell it or they would take it [Virgin Islands]. Sell it, or they would take it."
Carr: "Okay, f*cking sell it. Have you learned nothing?"
