During the week of May 15, 2023 we recognize and honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting their communities and country. Officers were provided meals, goodie bags, and commemorative shirts.

The Red Oak Police Department would like to introduce Officer James Grimes (left) and Officer Felix Serrano (right) which were sworn in today. Both officers come from the Lancaster Police Department and were hired under our lateral entry program.

Today, the Red Oak Police Department provided lunch to our dispatchers at the Northern Ellis Emergency Dispatch center from Olive Garden. This is just a small token of appreciation to our Angels on the airwaves.
⭐️Life School Career Day⭐️
On Monday March 28th, 2023, Lt. J. Meeks, and Officer D. Acosta, attended the career day at Life School Elementary in Red Oak. Officers visited with all students K-6th grades and advised them what it takes to become a Red Oak Police Officer.

The Red Oak Police Department is proud to announce the promotion of two of our personnel at this months city council meeting. Sgt. Jason Meeks was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and Detective Matthew Bratcher was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
Come support the Red Oak Police Department's effort in raising awareness on the effects drunk driving can have, in hopes of reducing the number of drunk drivers.

According to Texas law, if a bus has alternating flashing red signals visible from the front or rear, drivers MUST stop before reaching the bus.

Today, Chief Garland Wolf grilled hamburgers and brats for Red Oak police officers to celebrate Police Week. Red Oak P.D. has planned several events for personnel to attend so that we can express our appreciation for their service and dedication.
The Red Oak Police Department is administering the Sergeants promotional examination and assessment center today. We ask that you encourage these officers that are pursuing their goals of becoming the next Red Oak Police Department Sergeant.
