I teamed up with @myell0w and @donatuswolf to completely redesign & rebuild Redpoint’s Apple Watch app.

It’s now all built using SwiftUI, breaking the boundaries of what was possible on the old Apple Watch app.

We’re working on a completely new re-design of @redpoint_app for Apple Watch:

It’s rewritten in SwiftUI using the new watchOS 10 design styles.

A lot of @redpoint_app users have been complaining that altitude is not tracked anymore.

We’ve done some debugging, and it’s due to the latest iOS 17.4 / watchOS 10.4 updates.

The barometric sensor does not provide data anymore.

We’ll have to wait for Apple for a fix.

@redpoint_app I’ve scraped my ultra face first on walls at my gym. So far the edge of the case has some minor scratches but the screen is fine. Seems pretty tough.

If you’re using your Apple Watch for rock climbing or bouldering, definitely get a case! It’s just a few € but definitely worth it! also to protect from smaller scratches.

@parasight @frederikRiedel oh yes, I’ve seen way to many broken screens already. Such a case is a must if you take that delicate watch to such extreme sports 😅 haven't seen any broken Apple Watch Ultra screens so far though!
