Painful. This is a result of India's Kattar Deshbhakti. Kattar Indian Deshbhakti is a rabid pride taken in symbolism - the land, the religion, the culture while right to the life, livelihood and death of dignity for the every last citizen that makes the country is neglected.
International RW accounts that Indian RW usually cheers for are now calling out Hindutva foot soldiers attacking Christmas celebrations in India. Modi's pretense of inclusivity was hardly enough to cover up the ugly state-enabled ground reality. Shame!

Hindu extremists are trying to shut down Christmas in India as experts warn of a dramatic escalation in targeted attacks on Christians.
Right-wing vigilante groups have been raiding churches, disrupting Christmas celebrations and tearing down festive decorations across multiple states in the predominantly Hindu country.
There have been more than 60 reported incidents involving disruptions of Christmas gatherings or church services across India, according to the Christian organisation Open Doors.
In one widely shared video from the eastern state of Odisha, a group of Hindu men are seen harassing roadside vendors selling Santa hats.
The men claimed the sale of “Christian items” was not allowed as India is a “Hindu rashtra” (Hindu state), which excludes Muslim and Christian minorities.
"If you have to sell anything, sell Lord Jagannath’s merchandise," they said.
Christians are a small minority in India, making up 2 per cent of the population of 1.4 billion.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), a Right-wing Hindu group as been urging the Hindu community to refrain from celebrating Christmas.
Tensions have particularly escalated in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, where Hindu vigilante groups have attacked churches, leading to violent confrontations.
In an incident on Monday, a group led by Anju Bhargava, a regional leader within the BJP, was filmed storming into a Christian church in the city of Jabalpur and physically assaulting a visually impaired woman.
Last week, a group of Hindu extremists raided another church in the city, throwing chairs at the congregation and accusing priests of carrying out forced conversions. Police said several people were detained over the incident.
☠️ A factory called Miteni producing PFAs (PerFluoroAlkyl substances or forever chemicals) poisoned 3.5 lakh people in Italy by causing cancer, cardiovascular disorders, reproductive disfunction, liver & kidney disorders. It was shut down in Italy in 2018 & the owners faced prison sentencing.
Now this factory has been shifted to Lote Parshuram MIDC at Ratnagiri poisoning the area there & besides, several polluting factories like Dow chemicals, Gharda chemicals are poisoning the area in Ratnagiri.
Fishermen there are protesting but this hasn't come in Godi media who honors the BJPee rogues hand in glove with their industrialist cronies. India has no regulations.
Ratnagiri is a beautiful place famous for its scenic views and clean beaches. Pls spread the word to shut down these toxic factories in Ratnagiri ☠️
A big thank you to @guardian & reading room for sharing this news when most of Indian media is sold out.

Interesting TV interview by @Republic_Bharat 😂😂
A Republic TV reporter asks a woman in Bihar about her expectations from the Bihar elections. She replies, “We want unemployment to come down, migration to stop, and Bihar to develop like other states… like UP.”
Hearing “UP,” the reporter immediately repeats excitedly, “She wants Bihar to be developed like UP!”
But the woman continues, “Yes, development like in UP under @yadavakhilesh, we don’t want politicians here to seek votes in the name of caste and religion.”
The TV anchor is left stunned and quickly cuts the interview, switching to another topic.
They will never understand that we have no unwritten rules about who does what kind of work. Dignity of labour is beyond them. Their brains are dulled by the millennia old apartheid system that they have been conditioned into where occupation is assigned by social group.
Hello pseudoscience peddler with a PhD in Charlatanism...
May I remind you that you had once claimed your health and well-being was because of consuming heavy metal Mercury and because of Siddha...but ultimately when you fell ill with a stroke, it was modern medicine and science that helped you come back to life... to continue uttering more foolish word salads.
There is no need for anyone to "wonder" about the 'human mechanism' - modern human anatomy as a scientific discipline has been known since the Renaissance, with its foundation laid by Andreas Vesalius in 1543 and modern human physiology began to emerge as a distinct, experimental scientific discipline in the 17th century, primarily with the work of William Harvey.
Ayurveda on the other hand, still teaches students that there are 360 bones in the human body (actual number is 206) and even classifies teeth, nails and cartilage as "bones." When it comes to physiology, core Ayurvedic concepts such as the doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and 'prana' are considered metaphysical constructs that cannot be objectively measured and are as real as unicorns.
Ayurveda was developed long before the discovery of cells, DNA, hormones, viruses, or bacteria. Its explanations for health and disease are based on an imbalance of 'elemental humors', which is incompatible with the molecular and cellular understanding of modern biology and pathology.
There is literally ZERO benefit for children in schools on the addition of chapters on Ayurveda because Ayurveda is an obsolete pseudoscience of the bygone era, just like the coherence in your sentences are.
Ayurveda belongs to a "museum of inconsequential history", just like your opinions on health and education.
Hindus turned out to be the ones who wrote "I Love Muhammad" in a temple in Aligarh, #UttarPradesh.
Game plan is simple, create tension so that riots happen and one party benefits. And we all know which that party is! #RamRajya
"It's alarming how easily fake content spreads and how slowly platforms act."
Sudhir, how giant was the rock that you were living under? For more than a decade, social media companies have allowed their platforms to be misused, turning a blind eye to violations ranging from misinformation to hate speech, all in the singular pursuit of profit. You’ve only just woken up to it because you’re finally at the receiving end, and not the one exploiting the system to suck up to the government.

Dozens of villagers in Gummatapura, southern India, hurled cow dung at each other for the Gorehabba festival — a local ritual marking the end of Diwali.
Devotees believe their deity Beereshwara Swamy was born in cow excrement, which many Hindus consider sacred and purifying.
Still shocking to me how The Ultimate Warrior did this promo in his return to WWE and then died one day later.

This line says it all 🥹
