Zimbabweans are gripped by news of a robbery in Bulawayo, the country’s second-largest city, where robbers got away with US$4 million. It is a lot of money for such a dead economy.
However, what many Zimbabweans do not know is that Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Agriculture made payments without evidence equivalent to 68 such robberies in 2023 alone.
What am I saying?
I am saying the bank robbery that shocked Zimbabweans was worth US$4 million, but 68 times that amount was stolen through untraceable payments by just the Ministry of Agriculture.
That is a staggering US$272,141,221 (two hundred seventy-two million, one hundred forty-one thousand, two hundred twenty-one American dollars).
And this is just one ministry. Imagine the similar looting happening in other ministries, just imagine.
Zimbabwe is not poor, it simply has poor leadership in charge of the country, ruthlessly looting it and leaving ordinary citizens without basic human rights, such as healthcare and access to clean drinking water.
To continue looting at such an insane rate, Mnangagwa and his regime must keep printing money, a practice that has destroyed the newly introduced local currency, the ZIG, leaving Zimbabwe with the highest inflation in the world.
To give you clearer context on the scale of the looting through untraceable payments, the amount looted from the Ministry of Agriculture alone is enough to run all of Zimbabwe’s central hospitals for 5 years and 4 months. It is absurd!
Zimbabwe’s largest hospital has only one maternity theatre, built in 1977, and it costs just US$37,000 to build one.
The looted funds from the Ministry of Agriculture alone could build 7,735 maternity clinics.
Yet this regime allows 2,500 women to die every year during childbirth because it is looting public funds meant for this.
@daddyhope They were jailed for trying to free their country and not for Chamisa. Chamisa is also one of the people trying to free Zimbabwe. You too can't free Zimbabwe for others. You free it for yourself and for your children. Stop criticising those who are trying
These people were arrested and jailed for supporting Nelson, and then he comes and posts a cup, and bootlickers retweet that nonsense!
He has not said a word about these villagers from Gokwe!
You are not yet ready for change. I feel pity for these poor villagers; they acted in good faith!
Our struggles are different!
My thoughts on the riots and Tommy etc.
I don’t care what the colour of your skin is if you are taking part in this violence you are part of the problem and should be arrested like anyone else! (I forget to mention this)
I stand with the truth and I always will!

We thank you @EFFSouthAfrica, CIC @Julius_S_Malema, for coming out and condemning the vicious onslaught currently being perpetrated against the masses of our people in Zimbabwe. Africa is one. What is happening to us in Zimbabwe can not escape the eyes of the progressive forces in the region, Africa and the world at large. @GardeeGodrich the International Relations chief of EFF on the photo spelt out what the CIC of EFF has said, that they will never allow Zimbabweans to suffer alone. EFF will stand with us throughout, in good and bad times. More voices will rise against the impunity our people are going through. As I said before, regional and international solidarity is key in the liberation of any oppressed people!!!
