Diogo Dalot on his daughter:
“This April, Clara had to spend some time in hospital. They had to take her blood. They put syringes in her skin. She got really traumatised. For a father to see his daughter suffer like that, it’s very difficult. Every time a nurse came into her room, she would rise up in her bed and say, “No, no, no!” The first five days, she wouldn’t allow anyone to touch her except me. If the doctors wanted to take her temperature, I had to do it. It couldn’t even be Claudia [wife].
I did not go with the team to train in Ireland. As a father, I wanted to stay at the hospital every single hour of the day.
But every day, I drove into Carrington. I trained for two hours on my own, and then I went back to the hospital. When the team was back from Ireland, I was at training on Saturday. I didn’t know if I would be selected for the game. But I’m playing for United. I had to do my job. I had to know that I had done everything I could to be ready.
Fortunately, the operation was a success, and after that my daughter only wanted mom mom mom. A week later, she was back home, watching daddy play on the TV. When she watches me, she points to the badge and says, “United! United!”
We raised her right.” ❤️

Thank you so much to the Scottish Football Supporters Association after they voted me their Hero of the Year for our work at the Macari Centre. An honour for me to receive this from the fans of a game that gave me so much and a pleasure to meet Paul Goodwin, founder of the SFSA
“If we didn’t sign Branthwaite, how can we possibly defend high? He’s just £85m, missing out on him would mean our season over” We can see where Branthwaite is today.
“How can we miss out on Evan Ferguson, £100m for Baby Kane is not too much”
Where is baby Kane today?
“We must sign Baleba, we need legs in the midfield, without Baleba how can we play football?”
Sell Bruno for £57m buy Baleba for £112m” “its for the good of the club”
Now it is, if we don’t sign Anderson, we won’t be able to play football next season, our season is already over before it started because we don’t want to sign Anderson for £120m..
See the pattern?? I am glad we don’t have Richard Arnold and John Murtough anymore, now we work with data, we sign players that are ready to play for us, you can cry all you want, I’ll advise you to go do your assignments.
England Duty beckons 🏴 One of a few flags we have ready for the World Cup it will be present at all the friendlies and as far as we go in the competition 🇺🇸🙏

Seaton Carew FC are delighted to reveal its brand new home kit for the 26/27 and 27/28 season!
The new-look kit reflects the journey that the club is already embarking on, transitioning away from the historical black and white colours which was brought to the club in 1998 when Bernie Kelly established the club.
The black and white kit was a hand-me-down, and the Hornby Park trustees of that time insisted on the team playing in the Seaton Carew traditional claret and gold.
However, Bernie only had the black and white kit and this style of kit remained for 25 years.
After 25 years, our strengthened relationship with other sections of the club reaffirmed our belief in unity. The maroon and gold of Seaton Carew have become synonymous with the club as a whole, stretching through to the other sport’s kits that take place at Hornby Park.
Local restaurant business, Portofino, are the new proud sponsors of the clubs home kit, having previous sponsored the away kit.
Noel Stamp from Portofino’s said of this new venture:
“I’m very happy to be continuing our sponsorship of Seaton Carew at all
levels.”
“Taking over the sponsorship of the home kit was something I wasn’t expecting to be asked but grasped the opportunity with both hands having personally seen what this club has achieved as a collective over the last two years both on and off the pitch; culminating in promotion to the Northern League and a cup win for the men’s first team this season.”
“This is just the tip of the iceberg of what this club does for children at all levels in grassroots football, bringing all ages and abilities together and letting them play the beautiful game.”
“Who wouldn’t want to be part of that?”
“I feel very privileged to be taking over from long term sponsor Charles Dickens Tool Store as main kit sponsor and wish all team’s success in the years to come.”

"Your tickets are secure, are you f**king sure"
Despite Manchester United’s assurances that digital NFC tickets are fully secure, a major flaw in the @SeatGeek ticketing platform leaves supporters highly vulnerable to unauthorised access. By knowing a fan's Supporter ID and just their surname or postcode, anyone can unauthorisedly view, download, and use their tickets without the owners knowledge.
This has already resulted in legitimate ticket holders being turned away at both home and away matches because their tickets had already been scanned.
The issue was deliberately kept quiet during the season to minimise disruption, but with the Premier League aiming for fully digital tickets next season, it must be prioritised over the summer. The risk is exacerbated by a club culture where fans have widely shared their Supporter IDs for ticket-forwarding purposes, and instances where Manchester United emails have inadvertently exposed this information. The author urges @SeatGeek and the club to implement a secure, user-led authorizlsation process rather than relying on flawed off-the-shelf solutions.

Love this. Hearts fan, 73, (who also sings) sits anonymously for decades watching his team, his late father's membership card in his breast pocket.
Gets asked to sing a song he'd recorded in 1986 on the pitch this season, which fans have long sung. Him singing it catches on. What a tune!

@JackBates97 Proper professional but I think part off him will regret never signing for united.
Always came across very genuine and I know united been sniffing about for him a few times.
