If you’re worrying do you really believe Jesus is in control? Doesn’t matter what it is. He’s coming back in judgement so no use complaining. He is all loving. He commands us not to fear. Pray instead. If we are truly one of His followers we trust with eyes on Him, not the world.

@NeilShenvi Jesus tells us not to worry. I’m concerned about knowing God & people knowing God before Christ returns in judgment I strive to make this the primary concern in life above anything. Jesus says even if you put family above him you aren’t worth of being one of His disciples

If this is not our understanding of God's love and our motivation/reason to love one another in the one body of Christ, then we are not actually loving according to the Scriptures.

We are using the word "love" just like the world.

We're just another self-help, moral-therapeutic AA group.

And without hearing and believing the gospel, the group is still dead in trespasses and sins, and not reconciled to God who is holy, holy, holy.

I John 4:10-11
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

The gospel of Christ is how God demonstrated His love.

The gospel of Christ is the reason why we love one another.

Christ died for our sins, He was buried, He rose again the third day for our justification.

@Be_Like_JChrist @theo_bruv Yes you can tell what is demonic by its fruit. Calvinism produces faithless (no relationship, relies on human understanding) pride. Haven't seen it get people closer to God, I've seen hardened hearts. There are true believers who are deceived by it, distancing them from Father.

@Be_Like_JChrist This makes sense I never thought of it this way. Many forget saying the truth doesn’t mean the person is in good standing with God. The slave girl in Acts or Balaam. Prophecy..one of the gifts thatll cease, needed to know God during this time before meeting Jesus face to face

God confirms what He reveals. God’s preferred method of communication is supernatural. He likes prophecy, visions, whispers that move our heart and fill us. But Christians prefer logic and epiphanies, things that make them proud. Pride is a false version of value. The value that we gain from God doesn’t puff us up. It doesn’t make us feel more special than others. He gives us value that is pure without ego.
