The Maritime Electric outage map has not been updated yet however I do see the majority of affected subscribers and sites are back online now.

This weekend (Aug. 17 & 18) we will be doing some minor work on various sites. We do not expect any long service interruptions. Any that do occur should only be less than 5 min or so.

An emergency outage is required to safely make repairs at the Bagnall Rd. Substation due to a copper theft. The outage will be from 3:30 p.m. to approximately 5 p.m. in the following communities: North Rustico, Cavendish, Rustico, Stanley Bridge, New Glasgow, Mayfield, Bayview, St Ann, Wheatley River, Hope River, St. Patricks, Rennies Rd, Millvale, Toronto, Hunter River and surrounding areas.
