@CannyZanny@benbean1996 Ignoring OP fucking up the hawks playing three in four days instead of three straight, why would the cavs volunteer to a back to back when they too are competing for a title in their own sport?
For those who don’t know (I know most of you do) here is how Fangraphs says you should read OPS:
1.000 - Excellent
.900 - Great
.800 - Above Average
.710 - Average
.670- Below average
.600- Poor
.570- Awful
Reds have 17 players who got at least 100 plate appearances this year.
Of those 17 players 7 of them (McLain, Hayes, Friedl, Benson, Arroyo, Trevino, Marte) have an OPS of .650 or lower. 1,571 Plate Appearances given out to those 7 this year.
Of those 7 players 5 of them (Trevino, Marte, Arroyo, Friedl, Hayes) have an OPS below .570 (look above to see what fangraphs says about a .570 OPS). That comes out to 999 plate appearances.
Of those 7 players 2 of them (Hayes/Friedl) have an OPS below .500 (fangraphs couldn’t comprehend someone having an OPS this low so they didn’t label it. I will call this tier “mega dogshit”). 495 plate appearances have gone to those 2.
It is malpractice what these decision makers have done. They are spitting in our face.
ESPN inviting Ted Cruz onto the gameday desk only for the crowd behind him to boo and constantly yell at him to fuck off is maybe the greatest illustration yet of how deep the disconnect is between the ESPN-SEC industrial complex and college football fans as a whole
@Nati_Sports@JoeyVotto You were wrong and you are so incredibly lucky that Joey is one of the nicest humans lmao. Being quiet in a chair is still infinite times better than you being loud and ridiculous on social media for $$$. I can’t wait to see you tweet about how the Reds should sign Bauer again!
@imright413@SkylineChillBro@Kinsella_Finn@Patchman513 Nah, if I hated his guts I’d just block him. I do think he’s a dumbass for disagreeing with Joey Votto after he took time to explain why he’s a dumbass. Also, it’s really difficult for me to take anyone who wanted the Reds to sign Trevor Bauer seriously as a baseball commentator.
Pete Crow-Armstrong (5) & Sal Stewart (3) combined for 8 homers in this weekend's series.
That's the most homers by an opposing duo under 25 years old in a 3-game series in MLB history.
