Finally got a little time to tinker on my cnc mill project again. Got the spindle encoder mounted after the power draw bar. It looks a little weird but it works. For now. The draw bar being on top forced me to figure a different place to mount the encoder. That greenish wheel engages the unused pulley at at the top of the spindle. I have the "gear ratios" worked out in the software to give me and accurate rpm count. Anyways, hopefully have this thing cutting again soon.

I asked @grok to design a custom curriculum for me to learn everything i need to become a mechanical engineer since it is Phd level or higher in every subject. And @grok came up with a 2-3 year plan and course work for me to follow. Being dumb in this day and age is really a choice at this point. Especially when ai will create a custom university level course for you on demand. Pretty awesome. I think i might just attend Grok University. Lol maybe @elonmusk can make some kind of diploma or cert system for if some one completes one of Groks university courses.

Been a while since ive tinkered on my mill. Finally got it moved to the new shop and repaired after I dropped it with the forklift. Just did some test cuts. I love cnc:) more to come soon!
