@runofthemills10 Do you have to manually pull out rec tournaments from the data scrape? Noticed some funny results from "lounge of lizards" (college women's) they must have been using some strange rules/formats. It is just a rec tournament though and won't be in USAU's ranking set

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@SaltyPersimmon @TruckStopUlti Also all of Hybrid's returners lol

Small ball is dead. The deep game is back. Shmeat forever.

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@cmwilson325 2005 apparently

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@benbanyas It's been his thing for a long time now. He hasn't been involved or profiting off of the ultimate platform for 5+ years though. Not worth engaging with, something about pigs and mud

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@runofthemills10 So then should TC not be included for mixed? Seems like you have them pulled for men's and women's but not mixed?

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@Ike_Saul Isn't his self-framing as a former Democrat what gives 'strength' to this endorsement? It appears powerful due to appearing to go against his peers and the current. But he's been a Trumper since at least 2020 right? https://t.co/zpTtMajZ7W

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@ambrowne3 Which was max 4 or 5 days from the first invite

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@ambrowne3 We must be talking about different situations. High Five and Hybrid, when I was leadership didn't expect people to keep anything secret. We asked people to keep their invite to themselves until all spots were accepted to avoid the awkward convos laid out above

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@ambrowne3 Honestly if that's the interaction, if person B knows A tried out of the same team, they are kinda being a shit friend for saying anything other than "I heard they were announcing final decisions on ___" and person A is setting themselves up if they hadn't heard from the team yet

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@ambrowne3 Also you're gonna have to elaborate for me on why waiting 3 days to celebrate publicly is a barrier or not inclusive?

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@ambrowne3 Player A announces they made the team. Player B hasn't heard either way since the team hasn't figured out if they are getting a roster offer or pp offer. Kind of shitty to player B to be in limbo for that time

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@ambrowne3 You don't want some people celebrating publicly before things are finalized around the bubble. Not usually an issue around roster spots but comes up more frequently for practice player spots for higher level teams. Some players would rather be rostered, so it opens a pp spot

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@ambrowne3 Since no one has explained why apparently - roster invites typically go out in rounds - if one of your first invites declined, or the offer was contingent on something and it doesn't work out, you might need to go to next options.

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@MSUARCUltimate *15-9 over northwestern, 15-14 over Purdue, we didn't play Indiana this spring. But good job paying attention :)

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@MSUARCUltimate 12-9 but who's counting

@atx_traineryeag @HybridUltimate blame Dalton, he brought the die

[DanD @redsoxnation08]

@Ike_Saul @USAUltimate My understanding of the timeline was that he talked to ya'll late in the first half after you had been at it for a while. After he talked with you, it seemed fine the rest of the game. Doesn't excuse targeting a college kid you don't know to start.
