Actually, we need more national leaders who’ve done things in and for the UK, rather than LARPing on the world stage.
These people STILL don’t get British politics after Brexit.
@IsaacCohen8@owenjonesjourno You’re a perfect example of why zionists are the most hated people on earth. Your genocidal ethnostate’s days are numbered. The world hates you and won’t forget your crimes.
@5liveSport Remember folks, if Mamdani was involved in British Politics the entire media and political establishment would denigrate him as a terrorist loving communist that must be destroyed
@UKLabour would probably bar him from standing and call him "morally bankrupt" to quote our ex PM
@OliWright@ooeygooey_@CurtisDaly_ You’ve just lost all credibility with that “Russian or Chinese rule” comment. The public should not be expected to foot the bill for your anti-Chinese and anti-Russian mania.
@notherenowmeow@MBdaytrading I imagine it will have a depressing effect on house/land prices, which is intended. More a measure to reduce rentierism than seeking more tax income.
@MissLauraMarcus@afneil@kathywinton3 Whereas you’re a woman on the wrong side of 70 pretending to be a victim because everyone hates your precious Israel and you can’t handle it
Keir Starmer lied his way to the top, purged his opponents, took every freebie he could get, targeted the sick & disabled, scapegoated refugees, gave Mandelson a top govt job, enabled & armed a genocide.
Thomas-Symonds: "He was always going to put the country first"
Yeah right.
There is a lot of myth-making about Starmer's leadership, much of it unchallenged.
It is hard to support the claim Starmer 'saved the Labour party' when he got 560,000 votes fewer than Corbyn in 2019.
2024 was a Tory collapse, not a Labour surge.
(via HoC Library).
Today, Andrew Marr put it to Jeremy Corbyn that, to many people, Keir Starmer’s politics only amounts to being anti-Jeremy Corbyn.
The trouble is, being Labour leader should be about more than that, as Jeremy points out. 👍
