ബക്കാർഡി കമ്പനിയുടെ ആവശ്യപ്രകാരം വീര്യം കുറഞ്ഞ മദ്യത്തിനുള്ള നികുതി കുറച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നു. മന്ത്രിസഭയോ മുന്നണിയോ വക��പ്പ് മന്ത്രിയോ ��തേ കുറിച്ച് അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് പറയുമ്പോൾ വലിയൊരു അഴിമതിക്ക് സതീശൻ കോപ്പുകൂട്ടിയെന്ന് വ്യക്തം.

അതുകഴിഞ്ഞും രണ്ടാം പിണറായി സർക്കാരിന്റെ കാലത്ത് ബക്കാർഡി ഇതേ ആവശ്യം ഉന്നയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട��ന്ന് എക്‌സൈസ് മന്ത്രിയായ എം.ബി.രാജേഷ് തന്നെ നേരത്തെ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയതുമാണ്. അതിലും സർക്കാർ യാതൊരു മുന്നോട്ടുപോക്കും നടത്തിയിട്ടില്ല.

സതീശന്റെ ദുരൂഹ ഇടപാടും സർക്കാരിനു ലഭിച്ച കത്തിൽ സ്വാഭാവികമായി വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്ന റിപ്പോർട്ടും എങ്ങനെയാണ് സമീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്?

സതീശനു വേണ്ടി എങ്ങനെ വേണേൽ കുനിഞ്ഞുനിന്നു കൊടുത്തോ, എന്നിട്ട് 'ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലായ്‌പ്പോഴും പ്രതിപക്ഷത്��ാണ്' എന്ന വായ് താളം വിടാതിരുന്നാൽ മതി...!
