@ragabonz French breed - white. We went Ross (too inbred), then Hubbard which were much better, tougher meat though. Tried bresse last year - now have crosses with IG just off heat.
As a single dual purpose breed I would go with Bresse. Lady does eggs in Kidwelly (we may have some soon)

@brandilwells Trace it all back through the food chain. Its on the food we feed our food. They use it to dry the crops in the UK in the wet summers so the contractor can harvest on schedule.
It is very difficult to avoid unless you are self sufficient
