No, it's not enough. They need to formally drop all their charges against Ben with a formal apology while also thanking him for uncovering the very corruption they now admit was going on.
Also the CEO needs to be ousted from the position. Also apparently the two owners that "parted ways" or were fired aren't actually fired. This is all a publicity stunt to regain good will.
Also the CEO explicitly told officers that Ben was trying to murder one of his employees and routinely lied about information.
The police department absolutely need to be investigating, but framing it as if this side of the story is resolved just simply isn't true. Because the same bad actors that let this happen are there to do it again.
It definitely feels like a legal trap. I agree.
And if this if Bryan chooses to tap out here, I wont be upset. His dad is 83 and not in great health. Unfortunately this dragged out could be he passes away before knowing what happened.
So if Bryan taps out - I’m not mad. I doubt he will, but maybe.
Either way, they are still going after Ben, and we have the Fork Police to deal with. This became a much larger issue than Bryan and his Father getting their money or LEGO at this point. And while Ben may face some actual charges and they may stick, none of that changes the case he can build against BAM and the police. And Ben will take small jail time or fines, to hold these guys accountable.
Once the police did what they did, Ben is now the central figure here. Bryan is going to be alright. Ben’s gofundme got him his money and more - including money he can use to fight legally should he want too. Ben has gotten some good support as well on Patreon and such and the moment Ben publicizes that they are going after him or he’s going after them even harder - the influx in public funding to pay for the best lawyers to take their asses down will be astronomical.
The police better realize what they did. They kicked the hornets nest. Nobody world wide is okay with a 100% corrupt department and if millions are needed to take them down, that’s exactly what will happen.
We all know about individual bad or corrupt officers right? But entire departments is wild.
Because that starts at the top. Burn it down Ben. Do not let them get away with this.
While this is a win, they are offering this AFTER their main supplier that helped them grow from 1 store to 400, made the decision to permanently cut ties.
Their business is in serious threat if going under without their main supplier. Of course they caved. Don’t buy into they are doing the “right thing”. Their business is in trouble. That’s why they are caving. Nobody that works with them is on their side. Especially after that damning Audio of the ceo making shit up and threatening them.
Also; police still need to be sued. This saga continues…
Some real repercussions coming for Bricks and Minifigs as one of their suppliers https://t.co/I8LU0GccTg has seen enough and are severing ties. Going to make sure to check out their site and give them some business as I am sure this was a hard financial decision.
Hey so if an officer agrees to deliver court documents and then fails to do so they can get charged with a misdemeanor... Minimum should be fired.
Hope it was worth your collection plate being full one week from BAM corporate, bucko.
@Dexerto The CEO was literally the one on the phone call with Josh and the cops telling the cops to find anything they could to arrest Ben.
This just looks like Ammon McNeff is trying to save his own ass. The entire corporation needs to go.
this girl in my (former) friend group once claimed her boyfriend raped her, and then a few days later he was hanging out with us again and we were like ???? and she said "don't worry, we sorted it out"
He died defending his partner after his house was burned down and his dog was murdered.
His partner is a trans man.
Jonathan should still be here, at home, with his family.
But im told that we dont need pride.
