Sports Editor of @Duluthnews. Still strives to be a better Christian, human and friend but in a different digital place. Mostly just log in for research stuff.
@HollyAnderson Of recent vintage, the Stanford Torus one is also a personal favorite, mostly just for the random time @JasonKirk_fyi yelled, "SPACE DIVORCE!"
Evergreen pro-tip: At 8 p.m. ET, the polls will close in 79 of Michigan's 83 counties.
Four counties in the Western Upper Peninsula (Dickinson, Gogebic, Iron and Menominee) are in the Central time zone.
Former #Raiders coach Norv Turner is coming out of retirement to join Las Vegas’ remodeled offensive staff, sources tell me, @RapSheet and @MikeGarafolo.
Scott Turner, Norv’s son, is a top candidate to handle playcalling after OC Luke Getsy’s firing. Now, it’s a family reunion.
A return of “shame and spitting!”
I thought my combination MLS/classical choral music jokes were done for the year when Justin “I Was” Glad got eliminated.

Promise I’m not trying to go all Gerby on the bit but I still don’t quite get why this game was flexed. I mean, the Vikings are probably worthy of prime time, but against…the Colts?
Also, did Carrie Underwood have to make a special trip to the studio just for that?
@ExiledFromYoop Depends on division. 6-3 under the circumstances is a good but not great first half. Bad luck for them is NFCN is best division in football and both division games have been shit.
Bad performance from GB but I think it sells DET short. Wish they have given a better test.
@theloniouszen Nah. The Lions are very, very good right now. The Packers aren’t as bad as they looked today but they have a long way to go. Still only halfway through the season. Disappointing performance but 6-3 is really not that bad.
Tom Brady with a “math is hard” ((C) @BruceCiskie) moment there.
Also, is it bad that I now celebrate when the commercials are for cars, food delivery and Burger King and not the election?
