Helen Slater shares a heartfelt message for Milly Alcock after watching ‘SUPERGIRL’:
"Dear Milly, Last Friday, I gathered up my friends, and we went to the opening of Supergirl at Grauman’s Chinese in Los Angeles. You were SPECTACULAR in the movie. I thought you embodied the role brilliantly. So honest, fearless, and straight-up joyous to watch. Your humor, beauty, and fierceness shone through in every scene. What a triumph! Congratulations from one Supergirl to another. Love, Helen (Slater). Supergirl 1984."
Except for the needle drop ( I didn’t hate it myself), Craig Gillespie really nailed it with his direction in Supergirl. Also the movie just looks FLAWLESS. I hope Man of Tomorrow looks as good as Supergirl
a movie about a woman superhero beating and killing men who traffick and rape little girls hmm no wonder men bombed the reviews and shit about it like the catty dicks they are..
The point of the film is that she's 13 and shouldn't have to do that. The point of the film is that society forces young women to grow up and adultify themselves in various ways. Kara takes on that responsibility because she, as an adult, should be the one to handle it.
She went and removed herself from a stressful situation for a bit so she could let out her emotions without affecting anyone around her, meanwhile most male mc’s would have done collateral damage
