Deputy Prime Minister / Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50 held a meeting on the sidelines of the South Asia Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Conference.

DPM/FM highlighted the importance of enhancing regional connectivity, expanding economic partnerships, and strengthening cooperation among professional bodies to unlock the region’s full potential.

He reiterated Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting stability, harmony, and sustainable development, stating that greater collaboration among regional institutions can pave the way for shared growth, innovation, and stronger people-to-people connectivity across South Asia.

He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, economic cooperation, and deeper engagement among South Asian institutions and professionals to build a more integrated and prosperous region.

Attendees included: Humayun Kabeer – President SAFA, Prabhin Jah – VP SAFA, Ashfaq Tola @ashfaqtola – Advisor SAFA, Azeem Siddiqui – President ICMAP, N K Mobin – President ICAB, Kauser Alam – President ICMAB, Zeeshan Ijaz – Former VP ICAP, and Tishan Subhasinghe - President ICASL, and other office bearers of the professional bodies of South Asia.

Observation:
Restaurant waiters don’t expect tips if your bill is very small. Recently I went to a restaurant and had a small order with bill amount less than 100. Waiter came with bill and left it at the table. but he waited for other tables with higher bill. I left 100 as tip.

I have visited Swith Tahmina Banu Bidyaniketan today with other members of my Rotary Club. We were amazed to see the brilliant students learning and progressing despite many struggles. Our club have donated some furniture to the school to contribute a little in their success.

আমার কাছে কেউ loyalty এর উদাহরণ চাইলে আমি "গ্রামীনফোন" আর "রবি" কে দেখিয়ে দিব। হারতে হারতে তলানিতে থাকে একটা দলকে সাপোর্ট দিয়ে "চলো বাংলাদেশ" আর "পারবে তুমিও" বলে এখনও TVC চালিয়ে যাচ্ছে। এক এ তো এই হারতে থাকা দলটির উপর বিরক্তি তার উপর দুই ব্রান্ডের TVC। TVC, হারলেও TVC।
