@SteeleThoughts I'll respectfully disagree. Robust teaching and learning requires flexibility, grit, humility, and a far larger academic and SEL toolbox than ever before. Simply caring and being proud may result in a short, frustrating career.
Well stated. Wrestlers in WI have been practicing and competing in masks for weeks - because they love the sport. Respect to the grapplers east of the river!
Us old people can learn a lot from student-athletes
1) Short season-"at least we get to play"
2) No fans-"at least they can watch the stream if they want"
3) Masks during play-"it is what is best for everyone"
Goodhue kids are good (duh!), but guessing many others think the same
Congrats to Red Wing Girls Swim & Dive athletes and coaches placing third in the Section behind two Mankato powerhouses. An amazing performance to end an unprecedented season.
@PFishbaugher There is a fine line here between backing up and pushing but then again you do relish a good stall call. I can't argue with you ... although if you don't have TD 2 and 2 backers for homeboy then I'm not sure we can be friends anymore.
homeboy on the right nearly got hit for passivity, then went heavy hands to a pick attempt to a 4-point toss. can’t tell if he got another turn out of it. also unclear if the other dude covered for the reversal before they cleared.
man, i miss wrestling. https://t.co/7yI514CEiN
