🚨 JUST IN: Gov. Ron DeSantis that Florida has staged more than 1,000 generators, a half-million gallons of gasoline, 1 million gallons of diesel, more than 3 million MREs and 1.1 million bottles of water ahead of Hurricane Isaias, with tolls waived on the Garcon Point Bridge, Spence Parkway and Mid-Bay Bridge to speed evacuations
@GovRonDeSantis: "The Florida Division of Emergency Management is coordinating with all local counties to address resource requests as well as to position key equipment ahead of the storm."
"More than 6,000 utility linemen and restoration personnel are standing by to support power restoration during the storm."
Florida is having a hurricane tonight.
If you want to understand Ron DeSantis, look at this picture. Thousands of trucks along with the personnel to rapidly restore power to Floridians.
No big splash, no big talk, just results for Floridians.
Remember Ron's record.
@Seriously_1970 Choked me up.
Got off work yesterday and there were at least 10 lineman trucks parked at the Walmart next door, as well as ambulances. I saw more coming down the road as I went home. It was unsettling. But I suppose, hope was there, as you've said.
Thank you for this post.
