@wesstreeting You might not privatise the nhs but you will for ever require agency because so many people leaving nhs due to the conditions and terrible pay conditions! Labour has broke the nhs completely and it’s sad!
One call through insurance and I now have a fast-track gastro referral.I worked in the NHS for 10+ years and left after seeing patient care impacted by cost-cutting. It’s sad to see how far things have declined—morale is at an all-time low and standards are slipping.@wesstreeting
Privately, I had an MRI in 2 days and now have a treatment plan.
I’ve also lost over 2.5 stone since January with no plan. I’ve had bld tests through the NHS with no follow-up, leaving me in limbo.@wesstreeting
Can you explain how you’re protecting the NHS?
I’ve been multiple times with ongoing health issues and still haven’t had real help—ending up going private. Years of back problems became a crisis, yet I was only given pain relief with no real investigation. @wesstreeting
@DHSCgovuk@wesstreeting It’s incredibly sad to see how much things have declined. I used to be a strong advocate for the NHS, but from both a patient and staff perspective, morale is at an all-time low and standards are slipping.
@DHSCgovuk@wesstreeting I left because I saw first-hand how decisions were being made based on cost rather than patient care. Being told a patient couldn’t have a dressing we had in stock because it was “too expensive” was the final straw for me.
@DHSCgovuk@wesstreeting I now have a fast-track referral to gastroenterology—something that should have happened much sooner.
I also worked in the NHS for over 10 years, most recently working in the District Nurse team.
@DHSCgovuk@wesstreeting More recently, I’ve experienced unexplained weight loss of over 2.5 stone since January. I’ve had blood tests done more than once through the NHS, but each time there has been no follow-up, leavinme feeling completely forgotten about. After speaking to a doc through my insurance
@DHSCgovuk@wesstreeting I was repeatedly given stronger pain relief, but nothing to actually address the cause. Through private insurance, I had an MRI within 2 days, saw a consultant, and now have a clear treatment plan.

@DHSCgovuk@wesstreeting I have attended the NHS multiple times with ongoing health issues and still haven’t received proper help, to the point where I’ve had to go private. I’ve suffered with back problems for years, which became a crisis in October.

@DHSCgovuk@wesstreeting Please can you explain how you are protecting the NHS?
Such a shame that you do everything to protect your wrongdoings politicians that’s the only thing you are protecting!

A large hospital trust has been downgraded by the health watchdog after staff told inspectors they ‘were not listened to’ by managers when they raised complaints about racism, bullying and harassment.
Inspectors also found the trust's nursing leadership team was ‘fragmented’.

@UKLabour At least you are doing some you promised!!! Unlike paying nhs staff doctors and nurses a fair pay! 💰 hence a lot of people are leaving nhs! Me being one of them!!!!
Thousands of nurses are leaving the UK register much earlier than planned because of poor working conditions, a report has found.
The latest NMC leavers' survey found external pressures and negative personal experiences were pushing staff to leave early.
