"Am I a Good Person?" is a moronic inquiry-- it is to ask "Do I judge myself to be a good person in the way that I judge others?" -- but you aren't the judge, God is, & you won't know his judgment until the End. To ask "Am I productive?" is a scientific inquiry.

It is pure narcissism to concern oneself with "morality" -- "Am I a good person?" asks the narcissist. What one should ask is "Am I productive?" -- this is a concern that is beyond "good & evil" in the moralizing sense.

Chinese philosophy, from its earliest foundations, has never much concerned itself with "morality" as such-- but rather with "good governance" -- which is beyond good & evil. Good Governance requires upholding the Mandate of Heaven even above the "moral sentiments" of a people.

Moralism "feels right" -- but is actually unintuitive & incorrect. A moralist becomes a vegan, which is an asinine sort of behavior. Jesus Christ was not a moralist, which is why he was killed by the moralizing Pharisees. Jesus forgave sin. This is intolerable to moralists.

Most of the "right wing" critiques of "Marxism" are correct simply because "Western Marxists" are petite bourgeois clerks & priests who derive their livelihood from rent-extraction by upholding a pretense to "moral concern" -- the Chinese Communist is not a moralist.
