Today was Day 9, i took a break from everything and was just playing in Framer, designing.
Im focusing on micro animations, and layering those to give my site more depth. It still feels a lil flat to me.
The @framer agent is good, but it’s not perfect yet. If you’re not happy with the output for any reason, select “Mark as Bad” from the Changes menu. We’ll refund your credits, and your feedback helps us improve the agent.
What day are we on? 8? Today im going to an in-person event for Framer in Austin. if yall see my awkward self, please dont be offended by the RBF i swear im nice 😅
My day 3 roundup:
Finished contract template
Signed up on square to send invoices and contracts
Ghosted by new client and then rescheduled
Had drinks with my landlords? (They are chill AF, i love them and dont know how i lucked out)
how is everyone writing design contracts with clients? do you have a lawyer writing one for you, do you use a customized template (designed by a lawyer) what's the move friends?
My Rules for CTA's:
✔ Outcome-based (‘Start building your pipeline’)
✔ Friction-reducing (‘Try free - no card needed’)
✔ Specific ("Book a 20-min call')
Make it specific enough that clicking feels like a logical next step, not a leap of faith.
how i'm looking to position ALTMADE:
We build digital infrastructure for ambitious founders.
The same way a master carpenter builds a house.
No fluff.
No jargon.
Just solid work.
The Field Guide for SaaS Founders.
Websites built like tools, not marketing campaigns.
I have a maybe hot take for yall today. AI isn't making everyone creative. DESIGNERS ARE STILL NEEDED.
It's making creativity more obvious.
When execution becomes instant, taste becomes the bottleneck.
🥂 cheers
Day 1:
I'm building a SaaS design studio from zero. (reboot)
No audience.
No case studies from huge startups.
No shortcuts.
Just daily outreach, maybe some public teardowns, and getting better every week. Let's see where this goes. 🤙🏽
