Knowing United fans were planning to disrupt the team bus on its way to Old Trafford, Liverpool sent an EMPTY bus along the expected route — while the players and staff secretly travelled a different way.

The plan worked perfectly. United supporters blocked the decoy and punctured its tyres, completely unaware that Liverpool’s real team bus was making its way calmly to Old Trafford.

A few hours later, Liverpool won at Old Trafford for the first time in SEVEN YEARS.

They fooled them before the game… then beat them on the pitch. 😭
