@gatorgar Giving Zelda fans a bad name with this essay... Something can be the best of a specific category but not of everything. The nuances of the perfect acting in a heartfelt scene of a movie with give others a more visceral feeling over reading Saria's somber text when she's a sage.
@maryarchived My friend doesn't have any kids but wants to gush over cute kids in public because he wants to have some one day. It's people like you that prevent him from being nice to kids in public because he's afraid people will think he's a creep since he doesn't have kids of his own yet.
@Bagons1776@PearlteaRizzy Hate to break it to you. But the Civil War happened because of the South's secession from the USA, becoming the CSA. They were no longer our brothers at that point but a (planned) second country.
The people who didn't share slave values (Southern Unionists) fled to the North.
Audiobooks only count as reading if you're actively listening and comprehending the story and characters. Running it in the background while you do other things is NOT reading.
@spacekoala Every person is different, but a high fiber diet also regulates your hunger. The problem is most people should eat 20-30g of fiber a day and don't.
@Cr7Godbrand I think part of your jaded approach has to do with the old fashioned criteria most people still use to get married. Makes you sound like a boomer comic.
@DronkerCummings@lonelyisthejulz@san_francliffo I'm not saying it like a bad thing? I'm just describing the original poster who's treating the next main character's race like taking turns. If they were all white I'd get it but all the recent movies are explicitly different races.
@CptAncapistan@510sVeryOwn@DarrigoMelanie You lost me at 1. "He is often cruelly beaten, called out in the middle of the night, and so on." Comparing taxes as a form of slavery in such a hyperbolic scenario is why people won't take your arguments seriously.
Don't treat a thought experiment as "fact."
@lonelyisthejulz@san_francliffo By that argument we should have another Native American, Arabic or Chinese princess first since it's been longer. This isn't exactly a "you've had it long enough, it's my turn" kind of thing. Especially when there's still diversity of cultures and races in their movies.
