Almost a year on from our original concept of bringing film funding to web3 & Reel Finance has succesfully produced two films.

Sometimes, taking a step back to focus on the success of the core business before scaling into the unknown is the best decision. Particularly when the timing does not feel optimal.

In 2023, we borrowed over $3m and paid over 30% on the loans, which were repaid inside of 5 months, the average interest rates we pay with fees are 25% to 35% on collateralised loans.

Nothing has changed, Tradfi are still making exceptional profits from our business & from hundreds of other businesses like ours. When we initially explored the idea of a defi solution to this, opening up these lending opportunities to retail the liquidity was low & sentiment around RWA's poor.

We feel the recent shift in the industry, RWA's are being seen as the next positive move & shifting profits from tradfi to defi seems to once again be a popular narrative.

With that in mind, Reel Finance are re opening old discussions & exploring new possibilities for 2024/25.

I saw this earlier today and thought its worth posting as there has been a lack of legit projects in the space lately. If you read one thing today read this 👇

$AQLA is already working with governments and airlines.

In the latest team update they confirmed the following:

1. They have secured "Support from two governments" focused on "upscaling their carbon credit markets" in partnership with Aqua Libre.

2. They have preliminary agreements for their CORSIA credit system (needed for issuance of the carbon credits within the aviation industry) and they already have multiple airlines interested.

I honestly think that @AQLA_Token $AQLA is going to be one of those projects that lead the way within their niche.

It just happens that their niche industry was valued at 331.8 billion U.S. dollars in 2022 & forecasted to be worth 1.6 Trillion by 2028.
