#LGBTWIP Day 4: I recently (finally) rewrote the first line that I've hated for so long so I'm around to present the opening of RT&T:

I was twenty years old when I fell in love for the first time.

#LGBTWIP 3: Daisy (bi) would absolutely go to pride. Erme (love interest & pan/polyam/genderfluid), who has been to pride all over the world, would love to take her. Failing that, her best friend Eddie's (trans/gay) parents would close the restaurant for a day to take them both

#LGBTWIP 2: Let's talk about Daisy yet again: bisexual disaster finds out she's the key to a prophecy predicting the fate of Olympus, says "no thanks" because she wants to piss off her dad. (The real pitch is that there's only like one straight white abled dude in a cast of 20+)

#LGBTWIP 13: Daisy is a disaster bi who takes no shit. She's putting herself through school by waitressing, majoring in polisci, falling in love with every cute diner who sits in her section and just generally kicking ass. im v proud of her bc tbh she's more put together than me

#LGBTWIP 9: I'm struggling the most with the motivation to write 😭😭 I know this story and I know these characters but I just keep staring at the document and getting mad

BUT the prequel is like half coming-out story half other plot. That book deals with the main love interest's origins, discovering their identity, family struggles, all that good stuff.

#LGBTWIP 4: queerness is not at all important in the main trilogy. The fact that 99% of the characters aren't straight and/or cis isn't relavent to the plot, it just is.

day one of #NaNoWriMo18 I didn't get home until 10 pm and with an hour left I have written 81 words. it's gonna be a long month folks #amwriting #sososlowly

#sensationalWIP 8: that........that's it, that's the actual ending of the trilogy: deus ex machina at the price of the MC's ability to get closure. It's a story about gods, so most of the options for how to fix things are to have a god swoop in and save the day 🤷‍♀️
