Not trying to seperate, rather I’m questioning the value it adds to a story for me personally, as I’m not a major in literature, smth like intertextual layering doesn’t add personal meaning

@vhalawilky @heartsawedoff I mean that the thing that creates meaning for me for the most part in any sort of literature isn’t the structure of text itself but the thematic approach to characters inside of a story no matter the lyricism. For the same reason I never really liked poems or linguistic pathos

@vhalawilky @heartsawedoff I agree it is one of the most intertextually layered scenes ever created, but to me intertextual layering itself isn’t something that I care about a lot since it doesn’t necessarily add anything to me personally except for the fact that I know the author put more thought into it
