@CClwyd @JackoRugby Exactly the same happened with the Celtic Warriors though. Pontypridd and Bridgend merged. Then disbanded. Then the fans told to support Cardiff Blues. I’ve always said, it was like asking Everton fans to support Liverpool.

@chrisberry1980 @Oweninsouts @WelshRugbyUnity I was at this game when I was in Junior school. I remember supporting East Wales in Cardiff because the East Wales region represented me and I identified with it. So, yes, I would support an East Wales side based in Cardiff.

I live within East Wales, so I would support an East Wales model. I don’t live in Cardiff or Newport though, and I don’t identify with those clubs.
