My personal pitch for #spiderman 5 would be to mix multiple storylines into one.

The main spine should be the Alien Costume Saga, introducing Felicia Hardy and the symbiote. Felicia falls for the dark, aggressive masked hero.

Use Peter's savagery from Back in Black to show him crossing moral lines to dismantle Kingpin. This forces a team-up with Daredevil, who serves as Peter's moral anchor.

Bring in the Fantastic Four for a tight, comic-accurate role: Reed Richards acts as the scientist who discovers the suit is a living alien and helps strip it off. Johnny Storm adds the friendship dynamic, trolling Peter by making him swing home as the iconic Bombastic Bag-Man.

Add a political layer to tie it all together: Fisk losing the mayor's office in Born Again S2 could trigger a massive turf war. If not already introduced in Born Again S3, bring in Martin Li (Mr. Negative), who takes over Fisk's role by using the Inner Demons to seize control of the criminal underworld. Their logo is already referenced on Peter's villain tracker board in Brand New Day.

Spider-Man (in his classic suit), Black Cat, and Daredevil team up to stop Li's forces.

@VBFK777 @sadofilms Honestly if it wasn't for Rayna Cruz, season 7 would've been a catastrophic failure. The plot in the first half, with the Heretics and Caroline's Gemini Coven pregnancy was hard to get through.

Still catching up on the Multiverse Saga and finished Eternals. I REALLY wanted to like this...

The Good:

- Visuals & Action: The Celestials look comic accurate. The choreography for Makkari vs. Ikaris is the absolute greatest blueprint for a speedster in film.
- Character Depth: Kingo & Karun are a hilarious duo. Gilgamesh caring for a volatile Thena for centuries is honorable. And probably my favorite, Druig's morally gray perspective on human conflict adds genuine philosophical weight.

The Bad:

- Bloated Narrative: Juggling 10 complex backstories and relationships in 2.5 hours leaves the script suffocated.
- The Thanos Plot Hole: If the Eternals' true mission is growing the population for Tiamut's emergence and defeating Deviants, since they consume humans, ignoring a cosmic warlord who wipes out 50% of their "harvest" is lazy, counterproductive writing.
- Messy Third Act: Kro is completely sidelined so that Thena could avenge Gilgamesh. Ikaris flying into the sun because he couldn't face his failures felt cheap and abrupt.
- Lazy Deus Ex Machina: Phastos spends act 2 building this complex bracelet network for the uni mind. But because Tiamut automatically initiates an organic network anyway, Sersi's moment feels unearned, and Phastos's invention becomes pointless.

Verdict: A movie with ambitious ideas and saving graces, but it ultimately collapses under its own logic. 5/10
