@bull_japanese @jt_mag_os Right, so they are not going to get the cross-cultural communication experience if they are not even interested in seeking it out – no matter where they are residing. I think they may be seeking it on a package tour, but I'm not so sure they would receive it.

@SW_Help Hi. Update. I just went back to lost property office after an email suddenly showed up. It was in the 'waits' section before so somehow he missed it 20 minutes earlier when I asked. I've got it now. Thank you so much.

@SW_Help Thank you for your advice last night. I'm 10 yards away from where it was detected last night but the ticket office says everything was already collected this morning and lost property said 'try again tomorrow after 1pm'. So it doesn't quite make sense to me 🙁

@SW_Help Thank you, I have done that already. A staff member who deals with Twitter for Southern Railways suggested sending you details might help as they often post such things on their internal chat. Obviously that's a different company but I'm just anxious about it so trying any ideas!

@jburnmurdoch If nonfiction, try reading out of order. Skim over the chapters, read synopses, listen to author interviews and then dig into the book looking for the details you now care about. Don't worry about subvocalising, this is not the problem. Focus more on finding fascinating books.

@levelsio I may have to change my workflow to support the new chips, then I'm hoping I can get away with an Air. In the meantime I prefer my current 13" Pro. I think I'm the only one who doesn't like this update.

@tomaspueyo Not a conclusion, but I keep thinking of how multiple currencies may work side-by-side. Locally, a taxable currency controlled by the state. Internationally a separate currency, not easily taxable but part of an economy that cannot provide value at a local level.

@timspector Looking at the government stats it seems to have peaked in a few specific areas but is rising overall as it climbs in multiple other areas. So I'm guessing this will be a limited wave as more areas follow the peak and gradual fall as in Bolton.

@mattycurry I'm also looking at the code. The 'manage your booking' button points to the same place as the 'book an appointment' button so it seems like a copy-paste error. It's pretty unbelievable.

@mattycurry My friend didn't get a confirmation number and in a bid to help him I pressed the 'Manage your booking' button. It led me to a page asking me to book a first appointment again. I backed out of it and got a text message saying I had cancelled my second vaccine!
