Just for information Mick Hill has decided unfortunately that his position within the WFRA has become untenable and will no longer be part of the organisation and no longer post on this account. Take care everyone and remember #PlaySlowPlayFairPlayWell
Good luck to the WFRA officials taking charge of the ‘ROI’ and ‘England’ representative walking football matches @StMikesFc tomorrow. Put on a good show and enjoy your games. #PlaySlowPlayFairPlayWell
@steve_pitt If you read my replies Steve it has been questioned and is under review. Some competitions introduce a local rule which doesn’t allow a retake. I am confident that before we get back to competitions the laws will be reviewed once more.👍
@steve_pitt Look at the box which describes outcomes and specifically more than one step. That is what I am referring to. If they score they get a retake.
@steve_pitt They did, thats the law as it stands. A player who takes two steps and scores but has the ‘goal’ disallowed currently is entitled to a retake. As we say it is under review and was highlighted by the WFRA in a meeting we held with the FA regarding the laws of walking football.
Good luck to @FTFlyersFC#WalkingFootball squad today, first time back with new protocol and rules after lockdown. Weather forecast not welcoming, hope the rain stays away for a couple of hours.
After a long lay off we can look forward to making plans for a slow and safe return to walking football. The WFLA have now formed an initial Steering Committee from its members to take the WFLA forward and will be looking into a number of new projects over the coming weeks.
