Democrats in Virginia saw these texts from Jay Jones and decided “yup, he has my vote!”
Truly evil. You can’t live in a country with people that want you dead.
🚨 BREAKING: @AGPamBondi says the FBI and ATF are heading to the scene after a gunman shoots multiple people and sets a church on fire in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
from a first principles perspective, the left no longer makes sense
their stated foundational values:
equality→ everyone deserves the same rights, resources, and dignity
justice→ systems of oppression must be dismantled; historical wrongs must be rectified
compassion→ society has a duty to care for the vulnerable
freedom of expression / identity→ people should be able to live as they are, without coercion or stigma
democracy / representation→ power should be distributed, not centralized in elites or corporations
so far, so good. these aren’t insane on their face. in fact, they mirror Enlightenment values and liberal democracy. but if you go layer by layer and test whether these principles hold up under logical pressure or modern application, they fail catastrophically
not to go full Bill Ackman, but i broke them all down below:
equality vs equity
claim: everyone should be treated equally
modern practice: people should be treated differently based on group identity to achieve equal outcomes
(the left used to fight for equal opportunity. now it demands equal outcomes—two very different philosophies)
/
contradiction: you can’t simultaneously advocate for equality and outcome-balancing without destroying the meaning of either word. when you handicap some to boost others, you are engineering hierarchy. that’s not equality
justice vs collective blame
claim: historical injustices should be rectified
modern practice: assign moral debt by race, sex, or class—then demand restitution from individuals who weren’t involved
/
contradiction: you can’t promote justice by punishing people for things they didn’t do. that’s injustice by any rational standard. guilt-by-association is literally the logic of fascism
compassion vs infantilization
claim: we must protect the vulnerable
modern practice: treat marginalized groups as permanently fragile, incapable of handling discomfort, disagreement, or competition
/
contradiction: true compassion builds strength. the current model assumes fragility is permanent and must be accommodated—forever. that’s not care, it’s a subtle form of condescension. it’s anti-resilience. it traps people in the role of victim indefinitely
freedom vs speech policing
claim: everyone should be free to live and express their identity
modern practice: deplatform those who disagree, especially if they question the dominant narrative on race, gender, vaccines, etc
/
contradiction: you can’t claim to support freedom while banning words, thoughts, and ideas. if “freedom of identity” requires compelled speech (pronouns, slogans, belief statements), it’s not freedom. it’s ideological capture
Democracy vs Technocratic Authoritarianism
claim: the people should have a voice
modern practice: empower unaccountable institutions (CDC, WHO, ESG boards, DEI departments, University boards, HR departments) to override democratic decision-making
(note: none of these institutions are inherently evil. the problem is when they become the final word on moral or civic truth, without feedback loops from the public they claim to serve)
/
contradiction: if you support the rule of the people, but censor their dissent, deplatform their speech, and bypass local governance in favor of global technocrats—you’re not pro-democracy

the modern left has created a Rube Goldberg machine of mutually exclusive ideologies, for example:
trans women are women, we’re told—but also a distinct class deserving separate visibility, protections, and language. if they’re the same, why the differentiation? if they’re different, why the slogan?
ask yourself: are they building toward coherence or expanding contradictions?
if we define first principles thinking as:
identifying the fundamental truths or constraints of a system and reasoning up from there, rather than reasoning by analogy or trend
then, as i said above, the modern left fails catastrophically
why? because:
its internal logic is incoherent
its principles are selectively applied
its outcomes contradict its intentions
its enforcement is dogmatic, not rational
its epistemology is emotional, not empirical
i understand there are still some people on the left who believe in true liberal values—this is a critique of the mainstream institutional left, which is where the contradictions are loudest
so while i won’t cut someone out for being on the left, i do want to know what kind of mental models they’re cooking with—bc i’m sorry but these lenses are… to say it nicely: broken
but that's just me, you can decide for yourself
@furkangozukara come from another country automatically equals Muslim.
came from another state automatically equals migrant.
totally makes sense bud. nice direct quote, in furtherance of the spread of misinformation 👍🏻
@Peaceful_Tips they must have used cellphones or computers to access this application, so by this sam logic: when will cellphone/computer manufactures be held accountable 🤡
