We don't all experience the world the same way.
For young people with neurodisability, life can be challenging.
Reframe Training empowers frontline professionals to recognise these challenges, reframe associated behaviours and respond appropriately.

It's been a busy few months at Reframe - we've been right across the country to deliver our workshops, mostly to frontline staff in the justice system. Here's a snapshot of what we've been up to...
For the first time, Reframe is in South Australia! Thanks to those who joined us at Kurlana Tapa Youth Training Centre for some interesting and productive discussions today - as always, it's great to hear your thoughts and stories.
Looking forward to another great discussion at the upcoming @FASDHub webinar. So important to acknowledge that there's no 'one size fits all' - everyone has different experiences of #FASD & requires different support strategies.
Announcing our first #FASD#webinar event for 2022!
"Diversity in #FASD"

Did you know that 'knowing' the right thing & 'doing' the right thing require different skillsets? Young people with #FASD & other neurodisabilities may be great at knowing but have challenges with doing. Check out Dr Vanessa Spiller's helpful factsheet: https://t.co/5IeNHJr6wc
Shifting to a curious, non-judgemental mindset is the first step when working with young people with #neurodisability. In our workshops, we'll help you learn to recognise and reframe behaviours that might seem negative or challenging - and then how to respond appropriately.

Looking to upskill your staff this year?
Reframe Training delivers engaging, flexible workshops that assist frontline staff to better support young people with neurodisability, by building an understanding of their unique strengths and challenges.
A recent paper published in @ijdpsjournal outlines how the #FASD Research Australia CRE has worked to translate knowledge into policy & practice (incorporating stakeholder engagement) over the past 5 years - a lot of hard work and some amazing outcomes!

2021 was a big year for Reframe Training - we presented workshops to 260 participants in organisations across WA & NT, plus 7 online information sessions that reached hundreds. We've got big plans to take Reframe even further afield in 2022 (COVID permitting). Watch this space!
